This is considered one of the biggest security issues known. People not knowing how to set a computer password. This is easy and provides a serious amount of protection. Below are the steps to enable passwords on all the user accounts for your computer.
Set a Password in Windows XP
The steps below will show you how to set a password on every user account in Windows XP. You can also use the steps to change a password.
- Click Start.
- Then click on Control Panel. If you dont see control panel, click setting first, then click control panel.
- Next click “User Accounts”,
- Next click on your Username.
- Now click "change my password". Then enter a password and choose change password at the bottom to make it complete. We recommend you set a password for every user that uses your computer.
