How to Delete Google Search History - Its time everyone learns how to delete their Google Browsing History. The Right Way!
Google search history is not just in your web browser. Its also on Google's server. If you use gmail that is. For most people this is shocking. If you have had gmail for 4 years, then Google has 4 years worth of web search history stored on you. Kind of disturbing.
Here's how to delete it all:
- Log into your Gmail email account at www.gmail.com
- After your logged in, go to www.google.com/history
- On the left hand side, click on the menu link called "Remove Items"
- On the Remove Items page, look for a link called "Clear entire web history", when it asks if you are sure, choose "Clear History"
- Once your back on the main screen, you should see a message that says "Your web history has been paused", if you do not see that message. Look on the left hand side and click on the menu item called "Pause". If you do not see the menu item "Pause" then look for the menu item called "Resume", but DO NOT click on resume. If you see the menu item called "Resume" this means that your web history is already paused. You want your web history paused because this will stop any future web history from being stored.
