How to remove Antivirus / Antispy 2008 and 2009 - Easy Way

 



Instructions on how to remove Antivirus 2008 and Antispy.

 

Antivirus 2008 and 2009 are 2 malware programs that have been hitting pc's hard. Many people are repairing their computers because of it.

ASG has successfully removed this malware by using the first 4 programs listed below. There are 5 programs listed below, the bottom one is just extra in case you need a little extra scanning done. You can install Bitdefender and Antivir at the same time, but you dont have to use both.

 

SuperAntispyware - if you already have this software update it fully, then run it

Spybot Search and Destroy - if you already have this software update it fully, then run it

SpywareTerminator - if you already have this software update it fully, then run it

BitDefender - if you already have this software update it fully, then run it -(if you already have antivirus installed, disable it completely before installing bitdefender)

(if you want an alternative to bitdefender download Antivir antivirus shown below)

Antivir - if you already have this software update it fully, then run it -(if you already have antivirus installed, disable it completely before installing antivir)

 

ERROR MESSAGES CAUSED BY ANTIVIRUS 2008 and 2009

 

Getting error - Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file

- After testing we found that this is an issue with the file paths for default windows objects needing to be repaired. This registry fix from kellyscorner.com is proven to repair the issue. ASG tested and approved for Windows XP home, Pro, and Media center.

get the fix here from kellys corner, click on # 12 which is the EXE lnk and reg file fix, then download it, then run it. (it will tell you registry changes are going to be made, this is safe)
